4:50 pm - I WILL NOT BE DENIED
|
I am a powerful created individual, because God created me to be powerful. I can overcome whatever I need to overcome, I can become whatever I need to be. I am not locked into anything except for growing, overcoming, and becoming. Amen.
I WILL be a Diamond because I can and I understand the power is in me. The power is in the word, and when I speak the word, I hear myself through the inner ear. And it goes into my computer. And what I say, I am snared by. It changes my thinking, changes my direction, changes my life. It makes me wanna overcome, it makes me enjoy overcomin' and becomin' what I'm SUPPOSED to be; What God made and created me to be. Amen.
And I will not be denied, because no one can steal my dream. And that's the way it is. And if someone don't like it, if some piece of crap don't like it; They can hide in the stupid bushes and watch! Because I'm movin' on and I don't need your authority to succeed. I will EARN my Freedom. You can't have economic Freedom without personal Freedom. You can't have personal Freedom without economic Freedom. And I will be free. I know how to do it, I know what I need to do, I'm doin' it and I will get it done. And that's it! Period!

| |
11:07 pm - You're Intellectual Type Is: Visionary Philospher
|
Your mind's strengths allow you to think ahead of the game to imagine or anticipate what should come next in just about any situation. Because you're equally skilled in the numerical and verbal universes of the brain, you can draw from multiple sources of information to come up with great ideas. The timelessness of your vision and the balance between your various skills are what make you a Visionary Philosopher.
In addition to your strengths in math and linguistics, you have a knack for matching and anticipating patterns. These skills and your uncanny ability to detect the underlying blueprint of most of life's situations add to your Visionary Philosopher mind.
Two philosophers who share the same combination of skills you possess are Plato and Benedict Spinoza. Spinoza had insight into how things worked in the world. He could envision a future based on the patterns he saw in life, and used mathematical logic as a structure within which to present his philosophical arguments. With that base he was able to use logic to formulate his theories. Borrowing from his linguistic strengths he wrote eloquent texts and, therefore, was able to bring his philosophical ideas and structure to the rest of the world. His story exemplifies the talents that are present in the Visionary Philosopher intellectual type.
Whatever you decide to do in life, you've got a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a wide variety of ways. You can expand your mind to understand a situation. Your strong balance of math and verbal skills will help you explain things to others. For example, if you were on an archaeological dig and discovered an object, you could probably use your deductive powers to figure out not only what the object was but also how it was used. Given your ability to put things together, you are more than capable of inventing a life plan that is in synch with your perspective on how things were, how they are, and how they might be one day.

12:07 pm - If You Think, You Can! by TJ Hoisington
|
There will be times when the ability to take action will require you to face your fears and inadequacies. At times there will be a voice inside that will try to convince you your dream is not possible. But like Nat King Cole, sometimes it isn't until you take action that you realize the ability, talent, and greatness you possess within.
When I was sixteen, I can remember watching motivational speakers, and wondering if I would ever have enough to say to fill an hour. Then came the time when I wondered if I would ever know enough to speak for four hours. Once I mastered four hours I wondered if I would ever have enough knowledge and experience to present a two-day seminar. I learned that once I acted on these goals, I grew; with each action, more opportunities were made available to me. I realized that I didn't have to be great to start, but in order to be great I would have to start. By doing what is wrong we often learn what is right. I had to stop expecting to be perfect and instead decide to start taking action.
The truth is that you can have all the belief, skill, and desire in the world, but if you don't take action, nothing happens. If you are in sales and believe in your product and yourself, yet you don't take action, it is unlikely you will sell anything. If you are unhappy with your finances, relationship, or job, but do nothing about it, then nothing will change. Jim Rohn once said, "Affirmation without discipline is the beginning of delusion." Unfortunately, many people fool themselves into believing that their ship will come in without taking any significant action. They forget that a plane is full throttle as it takes off and begins climbing the blue sky, and the pilot doesn't back off the throttle until the optimum momentum and altitude is reached.
One way to increase your ability to act is to stand up to the inner voice that causes you to live less than your true potential. If you decide that something is important to you, turn off that inner critic. I don't know if a dog has ever chased you before or not, but it's not exactly a pleasant experience. I can remember jogging on a few occasions when mean-looking dogs ran up attempting to chase me and even bite my leg. Since then, I have learned to stop right where I am, turn around, stare directly into the dog's eyes, walk right toward it, and in a stern and unwavering voice tell it, "Get out of here!" Nine times out of ten, dogs will immediately turn around and run off. This is how you must be with your fears and your critics. Face them with confidence. Does this take courage? Yes! Will the thought pass through your mind, "What if it doesn't work?" Yes! Again, this is all a part of the process.

"Don't ask about caste or riches but instead ask about conduct. Look at the flames of a fire. Where do they come from? From a piece of wood—and it doesn't matter what wood. In the same way, a wise person can come from wood of any sort. It is through firmness and restraint and a sense of truth that one becomes noble, not through caste."

To accept defeat. To learn to die, is to be liberated from it.
So when tomorrow comes, you must free your ambitious mind and learn the art of dying."

"Find a friend to be with and stay in that relationship, avoiding the dangers of hurting others. Stay with your friend and become mindful and joyful. If you can find no friend, then go on by yourself. Better to carry on alone than live with the foolish. Journey on alone, unconcerned, working no evil, like the bull elephant in the jungle."
-Sunnata Vagga

"Awake and rejoice in watchfulness. Understand the wisdom of the enlightened.
By watching keenly and working hard, the wise one may build himself an island which no flood can sweep away.
The thoughtless man does not care, but the attentive man looks on wakefulness as his greatest treasure.
Meditate, and in your wisdom realize nirvana, the highest happiness."

"I alone will practice all that is wholesome. Those who are powerless and under the control of karma and delusion are unable to benefit themselves or attain their own purposes. Worldly people are completely unable to make their lives meaningful. Therefore, I shall practice what is wholesome for the benefit of all sentient beings. While others are engaged in inferior and menial tasks in which they encounter many difficulties, how can I sit here at peace and do nothing? I must and shall benefit them, but without ever succumbing to the poison of self-importance."

You are the loving couple. Now all couples love but you two seem to be perfect for each other. You hardly fight, you're not afraid to show your feelings in public, and you understand each other. That's not to say you don't have your bumpy points in the road. You may have huge arguements but you never get over each other and you put each other first no matter what. If you mess up you try to see what was wrong and try to improve it.

Steady, reliable, and cradling her tenderly. Take a deep breath, and let it out real easy...you are The Slow Dancer.
Your focus is love, not sex, and for your age, you have average experience. But you're a great, thoughtful guy, and your love life improves every year. There's also a powerful elimination process working in your favor: most Playboy types get stuck raising unwanted kids before you even begin settling down. The women left over will be hot and yours. Your ideal woman is someone intimate, intelligent, and very supportive.
Your exact opposite: The Hornivore Random Brutal Sex Master | While you're not exactly the life of the party, you do thrive in small groups of smart people. Your circle of friends is extra tight and it's HIGHLY likely they're just like you. You appreciate symmetry in relationships.
